John S. (Jack) Kirkland, Q.C.
John (Jack) Kirkland Q.C.: Born and raised in Almonte Ontario; Attended Queen’s at the age of 15, After completing his undergraduate degree, Jack attended Osgoode Law School and graduated at the age of 21. Jack returned to Almonte and articled with future Justice James Newton. After his call to the bar, he joined the firm of Dalmage Boyd and became a partner in 1964. Jack is well known and respected not only for his knowledge of law, but for his wit, wisdom and command of the English language. Jack is a recognized specialist in Criminal Law, but like William Murphy, is a general practitioner. Married to Beverly, Jack has 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
